Calendars need a lot of work

A few suggestions from a lover of planning:

  1. Color coding options (I like the color options with the tags, but I think from a visual overview perspective, being able to see colors at a glance is important. Perhaps an option to prioritize tags so that the event takes on the main tag’s color and have secondary tags for additional connectivity.)
  2. Multi-day events (There is an option to have an end date for events, but it doesn’t show very well in calendar views.)
  3. More calendar view types (Daily, Weekly, Monthly, Yearly, views would be helpful for all types of planning)
  4. Linked events (There should be an option to link a page to an event or create a page just for the event so that you can add additional information about the events like travel time, reminders, links to zoom meetings, addresses, invitees, to do lists, etc. something more complex than a flat notes section.)

As it stands, the calendars are mostly useless (in my opinion) compared to the incredible complexity of the other features.

Hi,

I have been through this. These are great suggestions. Adding options like color prioritization for tags, more flexible multi-day event display, and expanded calendar views would definitely make planning more intuitive. Linked events with dedicated pages for details like travel, reminders, and links would also streamline complex planning. Enhancing these calendar features could really elevate its functionality to match the depth of the other tools. Thanks for sharing these ideas.

Thanks :slightly_smiling_face:
